3. Tag some friends with whom you would like to share your result…or a trip to Paris!
A random draw from original pictures the most appetizing will determine one winner per country who will be fortunate to discover Paris and French products accompanied by a person of their choice.

SOPEXA – La Société pour l’Expansion des Ventes des Produits Agricoles et Alimentaires – a joint stock company with Executive and Supervisory Boards, registered with the Trade and Companies Register (RCS) in Paris, reg. no. 775 670 110 with the address 11 bis, rue de Torricelli 75017 PARIS (‘the Organiser’) is running a free promotion on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) who are at least 18 (eighteen) years old at the time of entry. Employees of the Organiser and their respective families, also any persons involved directly or indirectly with the design, organisation, promotion and management of the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
To enter the promotion, participants must have a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account with a public profile allowing the Organiser to identify any photographs posted with the required hashtag indicated.
By entering the promotion participants agree to accept these rules fully and unconditionally.
3. Promotional Period
The promotion will run from 00.00 September 1st 2017 to 23.59 October 30th 2017.
4. How to enter
The Promotion can be entered online only, via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Participants enter by posting a photograph of a recipe they have made based on quality French ingredients. The use of French products as the main ingredients is a condition of entry.
The photograph should be posted on the participant’s personal Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account with the hashtag #bonappetituk.
The participant must also provide a list, either in the photo or in the description of the photo, of the main French products used in the recipe. The 100 photographs judged to be the most visually appealing/creative will be chosen to go forward into a prize draw.
Only one entry per participant, regardless of the number of posts, tweets or Instagram posts made during the Promotional Period. Anyone trying to circumvent this rule by using alternative details including but not limited to creating multiple accounts will be disqualified from this promotion. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void..
All photographs must be in keeping with the theme of the promotion and comply with current legislation; they may not infringe public order or offend public morality. In the event of non-compliance, the photographs will automatically be removed from the promotion.
The Organiser reserves the right to remove from the promotion any photographs of a pornographic or discriminatory nature, those that may incite violence, or any not in keeping with the theme of the promotion.
Participants warrant that they have personally created the photograph as posted and own the literary and artistic property rights to it, including the right of respect to the name, the right of reproduction and the right of public representation.
The prize is a trip for 2 people (the winner and a guest of their choice) to Paris between December 30th 2017 and June 1st 2018.
The prize includes:
– Return travel (by rail or air) from the UK to Paris
– Private transfers from the station to hotel in Paris
– 2 nights in a 3* hotel , inh a double/twin room, with breakfast included
– A tasting menu with accompanying wines in a Michelin star restaurant
– A wine & cheese tasting lunch in a 17th century wine cellar in Paris.
The guest must be 18 year or over. The prize must be booked by the 30th of November.
The winner is responsible for ensuring a valid passport is in place for winner and companion along with any relevant visas and compliance with all travel and health requirements to the destination.
The winner and guest are responsible for all additional expenses not expressly stated in these terms and conditions as being included as part of the prize. All other costs and expenses incurred from the holiday including, but not limited to additional travel, domestic transfers, excursions, insurance, meals and drinks as required, spending money, tips and other gratuities are the Winner’s and their guests own.
6. Changes to the Prize by the Organiser
The prize is not transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
7. Choosing the Winner and Awarding the Prize
A panel of judges including at least one independent member, or a single independent judge, will select the 100 pictures that they consider to be the most visually appealing or creative. These 100 pictures will then be entered into a random draw and the winner selected in the presence of a public official on November 9th 2017. In the event that less than 100 valid entries are submitted all valid entries will be placed into the draw.
Winners will be notified by direct message via the social media platform on which their photograph was published within 7 days of the closing date and have a 7 days to respond and claim their prize. In the case that they do not respond in time another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are the winner.
The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of the prize winners’ personal details or address; prize winners give their permission for the Organiser to verify the details given when submitting their entry to the Promotion. In the event that such details prove to be fraudulent, the prize will automatically be withdrawn. The Organiser reserves the right, but is not obligated to, award the prize to a reserve winner in the event that the original winner is disqualified.
8. Changes to the Promotion
If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
9. Consent to Publish
Winners give their consent for the Organisers to use their picture, free of charge, on social media as part of the promotional material connected with the Promotion.
Use of the picture includes the right to reproduce, publish, represent, adapt, retouch, mount, digitise and display it insofar as it is not altered in any way.
By entering the promotion and agreeing to the rules, participants agree to the Organiser using their names and/or nicknames as taken from their Instagram/Facebook/Twitter accounts to promote the Promotion, and give permission to share the published photo with the Promotion hashtag, to reproduce, publish, represent, adapt, retouch, mount, digitise and display it insofar as it is not altered in any way.
The Organiser cannot be held liable if, in the event of force majeure, the promotion is cancelled, extended or closed early. Neither can the Organiser be held liable in the event of technical or telecommunications problems, problems with distributing the prizes, or any other events beyond their control which render it impossible to redeem the prizes.
Furthermore, the Organiser cannot be held liable for any disappointment suffered by the winners as a result of the prize. The Organiser cannot be held liable in the event of loss or damage to details relating to the stay.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. By entering the promotion, all participants accept that they have no claim against Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. By entering the promotion, all participants agree to a complete liability release for Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
11. Publicity and personal information
Participants further agree that the Organiser may use their name, image and town and/or county of residence to announce the winner of the Promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes, free of charge and without restriction.
Participants agree to being named and identified using their Instagram/Facebook/Twitter user name/nickname. The Organisers reserve the right to pass winning names to their chosen partners in each of the countries where the Promotion is running.
The prize winner’s full name and county will be posted online at www.frenchfoodandbeverages.com within three months of the Closing Date.
12. Acceptance of the Rules
By entering the promotion, participants agree to be bound by the Rules and Terms and Conditions as detailed above. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
No correspondence or discussion regarding the Promotion Rules, Terms and Conditions or organisation can be entered into.
In the event of fraud perpetrated as part of the Promotion, the Organiser reserves the right to prosecute.
These Terms and Conditions will be available on France Bon Appétit’s Facebook page, to consult or download, throughout the Promotion period.
The Promotion and Rules are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
