EPV: rewarding experience

Savoir-faire - Maison Francis Miot

This year once more, the company from south-west France has proved a credit to its country with its skilled expertise and innovation. Awarded the coveted EPV* label, Maison Francis Miot joined an exclusive circle of some 1,500 companies across France recognised for exemplary craftsmanship and unique skills.  Leading the way in promoting “made in France” excellence, the coveted label is awarded by the French Government only after rigorous scrutiny. The label recognises small to medium-sized companies synonymous with French disctinction, whether on an industrial or artisanal scale. The focus remains on mastery of advanced, renowned or traditional skills, usually inherently linked to a terroir or specific place.

The Great Taste Awards are organised by the Guild of Fine Food and the widely-accepted benchmark for excellence, and often described as the Oscars of the food and drink world. Maison Francis Miot can now add the coveted GTA logo to its products, a clear label that customers can trust when buying food and drink at their local, quality retailer. In 2017, more than 500 judges, including seasoned professionals from the food and drink sector, met over a period of 62 days to select only the very best products.
