Recipe : fig tart with almonds
Recently, we introduced you to the Fig of Solliès, native of Var department.
Today, we present it to you in a simple recipe and ideal to savor in family.
Preparation time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
– 1 pack of shortcut pastry
– 10 fresh figs
– 50g granulated sugar
– 10cl fresh cream
– 50g ground almonds
– 2 eggs
Roll out the pastry and use to line the inside of a tart tin.
Cook blind for 10 minutes at 180°C, preferably in the bottom of the oven. In the meantime, wash and dry the figs, cut into halves and set aside. Next, beat the eggs and sugar to make a smooth mixture. Then add the ground almonds, followed by the fresh cream and mix well. Pour the mixture into the pastry casing, and garnish with the prepared figs. Transfer to a pre-heated oven at 220°C for 30 minutes.
The fig tart can be enjoyed hot, at room temperature or even chilled!
